The 265-280 NM range LED wand is designed to eliminate up to 99.9% of the harmful virus, germs and bacteria in your surroundings, Dine’s new UVC disinfecting wand is your ideal solution for cleaning your dental camera, computer keyboards, keys, tablets etc without risking damage to your device’s surface found when using chemical cleaners. It’s also a great “second cleaning” source after autoclaving and more traditional cleanings of instruments. It’s fast, efficient and the UVC producing LED lights will last through extended usage.

UV-C is Germicidal
What is unique about UV-C radiation is that it is especially effective at disinfection. In particular, the wavelength of >264 nm is incredibly impressive at killing germs, viruses and bacteria.
Fortunately, UV-C radiation can pass through air without creating ozone.
Some people may be concerned that using a UV-C LED lamp will create ozone (a health and environmental hazard).
However, only the vacuum-LED wavelengths can create ozone (<200 nm). UV-A, UV-B and UV-C wavelengths do not transform oxygen (in air) into ozone.
