Newest member of the PUK family of welders, the PUK6 gives jewelers not only the power to handle larger welding jobs, the accuracy required for delicate tasks, but also the technology and ergonomics to make welding easy and comfortable.  When you touch your workpiece to the electrode tip, a gas valve opens and an electric arc strikes the welding point. Immediately, the electrode withdraws into the handpiece for a preselected amount of time before extending again. All you need to do is adjust your workpiece as the PUK sends repeated individual pulses to form a bead. You can adjust the size and direction of the welds by manipulating the angle at which the electrode touches your workpiece. To stop welding at any point, just move your workpiece away from the electrode tip. This is an intuitive solution that gives you complete control over the process and prevents any mistakes.  Made In Germany.
